Longing for a better goodbye?

Direct cremation funerals, otherwise known as cremation only funerals, are becoming more popular.

But this sort of arrangement, for all the financial savings, can leave friends and family feeling like they’ve not properly said goodbye. Getting together for a memorial service can satisfy that desire.

Memorial service could be the answer

You can hear your loved one’s life story. You can smile, laugh and cry together with other friends and family. You can feel like their passing has no longer gone unmarked. You can celebrate their life. You can benefit from more of a sense of closure.

Inexpensive

Memorial services don’t have to break the bank. Many pubs are happy to offer a room for free if everyone’s staying for a drink afterwards. My fee for:

• a visit

• writing a eulogy, that’s the life story,

• helping you put together the running order and

• leading the service on the day

is currently £234, for the East Midlands area.
